Tuna and Tomato Pasta
I used to love this recipe as a student. It is made with long life ingredients and an onion. Best of all it is cheap, tasty and can be made for a few days.
Ingredient
Food ration :
2 servings
Cooking time :
15-20 minutes
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add pasta and hot water to a pan and leave on the hob to boil.
* Step 2
Chop the onion and add it to a second pan with a little glug of olive oil and leave to cook for 3 minutes.
* Step 3
Add chopped tomatoes to the onions and stir.
* Step 4
Drain the tin of tuna and add it to the pan.
* Step 5
Add the herbs, some salt and pepper.
* Step 6
Add the stock cube and some boiling water to get a good consistency, stir until stock is desolved.
* Step 7
Keep stiring occasionally until the pasta is cooked.
* Step 9
(Optional) leave excess sauce in the pan, pop on a lid and cook pasta fresh each time you take a serving.
