This is technically crumbed porridge. It goes really well with emasi.
My phuthu is soft. It has very necessary steps you must take to ensure that it’s “moist” yet, crumbly 😝

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Bring water and salt to the boil. On medium heat, Add the mealie meal in a heap and cover for 10 minutes.
* Step 2
Using the back of a wooden spoon or a fork mix and fluff the mixture till crumbly. Cover for 10 minutes and fluff again. Pour 1 tblsp boiling water in the centre of the porridge and cover for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold and enjoy 😎
