Javas/ Flax seed chutney
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Dry roast flax seeds for 5-7 minutes till they fluff up and become crunchy.
* Step 2
Add sesame seeds to the same pan and roast for another 2 minutes.
* Step 3
Add cumin seeds and roast for a minute more.
* Step 4
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add curry leaves. Roast them till they become crunchy.
* Step 5
Add all the above ingredients with garlic cloves, salt and chilli powder and grind them together. Chutney is ready.
* Step 6
Serve with oil. It is a good, healthy accompaniment with bhakri, chapati or any meal. Can be sprinkled on salad or raita as well.
