Chicken Nougats

Chicken Nougats

A homemade version of chicken nuggets. Lots of savory flavors. This is great on it's own, as an appetizer or as a topping on a salad.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-8 people

Cooking time :

30 minutes
2/3 cup

flour

1/4 cup

sugar

1/2 tsp

turmeric

1/8 tsp

salt

1 tsp

thyme

1 tsp

basil

1/4 tsp

sage

1 sprig

marjoram

1 sprig

rosemary

2 sprigs

lemon balm

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large bowl (with a lid) Combine all dry ingredients, whisk together until completely dispersed

* Step 2

Mince the herbs and blend with dry ingredients

* Step 3

Grab your favorite Wok or frying pan and coat with enough oil for an even layer, do not go overboard, heat oil

* Step 4

Add your cubed chicken into the flour mixture and shake until all cubes have an even coating.

* Step 5

Add the chicken to your pan and get ready to shimmy your pan and flip the chicken around every 3 to 5 minutes. The cubes do not take long to cook (depending on the size) but the trick is to keep constant movement to prevent scorching.
