Almond milk

A nice healthy breakfast drink. I found that the milk tastes better using its soaking water.

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings
200 grams

peeled almonds

45 grams

brown sugar

5 grams

salt

750 grams

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak the almonds in filtered water overnight. Keep covered in the fridge.

* Step 2

Blend the almonds with the soaking water in a blender. Blend and let rest for a minute then blend again.

* Step 3

Use a cheesecloth to remove solid particles.

* Step 4

Add salt and brown sugar. You have the choice of adding orange flower water, vanilla extract or Matcha green tea powder. Delaying adding these ingredients will help you keep your cheesecloth cleaner.

* Step 5

You can keep in a bottle in the fridge. Shake well before pouring in a glass.

* Step 6

Drink to your heart's desire.
