This is the recipe the my beloved friend Leslie serves at Rosh Hashana dinner. My family has asked me to learn make it so I'm sharing it as well.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Make slits in meat on both sides and insert 1 clove of garlic in each slit--the more slits, the more garlic flavor in the meat (I use one head of garlic for each brisket) place brisket in baking pan add water 1/2 way up meat cut up 2 large onions per brisket--place over, under, and around the meat add carrots and finger potatoes around the sides of the meat season with salt/pepper to taste cover tightly bake 375 degree oven about 1/2 hour per pound for more tender meat, bake about 275
