Homemade coffee cake is delicious, tasty and go for any breakfast, Easter holidays, brunch, celebration, Cuisine: American, Diet: vegetarian, Course: dessert nutrients value: vitamin B2, B3, magnesium, potassium & antioxidants.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven at 200Β°c, grease oil in a round cake tin, add parchment paper and grease it too, keep aside, sift plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, keep aside in bowl πŸ₯£, beat sugar, eggs πŸ₯š, salt πŸ§‚, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder together until light and fluffy.

* Step 2

Add half milk πŸ₯› and mix gently, add half flour mixture and fold it into a batter, completely both milk πŸ₯›& flour mixture in the batter, add black currant raisins mix well, pour the batter into the prepared (round cake tin), bake in the oven for 35 mins or until a knife πŸ”ͺ inserted in the center comes out clean, when is done, remove it from the oven and leave it for 15 mins in baking tin, remove gently cake out from the baking tin.

* Step 3

Keep on the wire to cool down completely. For coffee glaze: in a bowl πŸ₯£, add sugar, instant coffee powder, mix well with electric beater,until soft peak from, finally add vanilla extract and mix well, spread on top of the cake and cut it's pieces, garnish with sliced almonds, mini Oreo biscuits and serve.
