Masala buttermilk & simple buttermilk

In Indian families, buttermilk is mostly enjoyable on lunch & dinner, it's very delicious. Give it a try once 😀.

Ingredient

yoghurt

1 cup

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Whisk yogurt till smooth, add milk mix

* Step 2

Take a blender and add above yoghurt mixture, add chilled water and grind

* Step 3

Stop the blender add salt to taste, bottled buttermilk masala/homemade buttermilk masala and grind

* Step 4

In serving glass and ice-cubes and pour buttermilk, garnish with finely chopped mint leaves, finely chopped coriander leaves masala buttermilk is ready to serve

* Step 5

For simple buttermilk, use method 1& 2

* Step 6

Add salt to taste,grind, for tempering /tadka, take small pan and oil, whole cumin seeds when they change colour,add finely chopped ginger, saute it, finally add curry leaves and stir for a few seconds, remove from fire and add it to yoghurt, mix gently

* Step 7

Pour in serving glass, garnish with finely chopped mint leaves and finely chopped coriander leaves, sprinkle with roasted cumin seed powder.

* Step 8

Tip: in winter serve room temperature and in summer serve with ice-cubes.please avoid drinking buttermilk if you are having cold, it might aggravate the problem.

* Step 9

Homemade buttermilk masala powder, dry roasted cumin seeds 1tbsp, fennel seeds 1tsp,cloves 2-3 Cinnamon stick 2, dry mint leaves 1/2tbsp, let it cool down, remove in a bowl

* Step 10

Add black salt 1/4tsp,dry ginger powder, dry mango powder,1/4tsp asafoetida rock salt 1/4tsp and mix it

* Step 11

Grind above masala,store remaining masala in a bottle
