Mac&Cheese
James Hemings, was born in Virginia in 1765 and was enslaved by Jefferson at the age of eight. He was the half-brother of Martha Jefferson and the older brother of Sally Hemings, Jefferson's slave mistress. James and Sally accompanied Jefferson to Paris when he was appointed Minister of France in 1784.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
We gather the ingredients, cook the pasta for half the usual time, preheat the ovendrain it and reserve it.
* Step 2
To make the sauce, we melt the butter, add the flour, stir for 1' and add the milk little by little, stirring constantly, add 50 g of each type of cheese and spices, stir and reserve.
* Step 3
We strain the pasta into a baking tray, pour the sauce over it and prepare the gratin, how, mixing breadcrumbs and the other 50 g of each type of cheese in a bowl, spread it on top, bake it until the gratin, plate the recipe and serve. Enjoy the recipe.
