Fried Wonton Wrappers
You can fry leftover Wonton Wrappers and make yummy snacks such as ‘Wonton Wrapper Chips’. If you cut them into thinner strips, the crispy and crunchy Fried Wonton Wrappers can be added to salad, soup, congee, etc. A boring green salad could be instantly transformed into an attractive yummy salad, that even fussy eaters would enjoy.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Separate each of Wonton Wrappers, then cut into 6-8mm wide strips. Today I cut each wrapper into 10 strips.
* Step 2
Heat 2-3cm deep Oil in a frying pan OR saucepan to 160 to 170℃ (not very hot) and fry the Wonton Wrapper strips in batches until golden. *Note: If they become brown quickly, the oil is too hot.
* Step 3
Drain the excess Oil on a rack or paper towel. *Note: The photo below is fried 6 Wrappers.
* Step 4
Add the Fried Wonton Wrappers to salad, soup, congee, etc.
