Ginger Teriyaki Chicken Don
This can be a super quick & easy meal that everyone would be satisfied with. Are you still buying bottled ‘Teriyaki Sauce’? It is easy to make. You only need Japanese Soy Sauce, Sugar and Mirin. For this rice bowl dish, add plenty of grated fresh Ginger. And of course you cannot forget green vegetables. I recommend Spring Onions. Thicker one is better. Vegetables can be cooked with Chicken Fillets. If you already have cooked rice, this dish can be ready in 10 minutes.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Combine the Ginger Teriyaki Sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
* Step 2
Lightly season Chicken Fillets with Salt. Heat a small amount of Oil in a frying pan (*OR no Oil if non-stick pan is used) over medium-high heat, cook Chicken Fillets and Vegetables. If vegetables are cooked before Chicken is cooked, just transfer them to a plate. When Chicken Fillets are browned on both sides, pour the sauce over and keep cooking until the sauce thickens. Return the vegetables and combine with the sauce.
* Step 3
Half fill a bowl with Freshly Cooked Rice, place cut Chicken Fillets and vegetables on top, drizzle the sauce over and sprinkle with Toasted Sesame Seeds.
