Vegan store cupboard pizza and pasta sauce 🌱🌢

I’m afraid my pictures are not great but I thought this might be useful for anyone making a sourdough pizza with their new pet! I usually use this with a yeast dough base but it would be perfect for sourdough. It’s so easy, but it’s a winning combination of ingredients and what I’ve used for years - it’s delicious every time!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Chop and fry the onion in a little oil on a gentle heat. Add the garlic and fry for a few more minutes. It should brown a little but make sure it doesn’t burn.

* Step 2

Add the chopped tomatoes, olives capers, chilli and half of your basil. Heat very gently for a further 2-3 minutes. Remove heat and season. This is delicious to top pizzas or stir through pasta and I’ve even had it cold as a dip.
