Buttery cinnamon oats with nectarine slices

Every morning I eat oats for brekkie and every morning I look for a different way to spice it up and make it interesting. Packed with delicious flavour and so much goodness! 👌🏽

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 serving

Cooking time :

5 minutes
1-1/2 cup

oats

1 Dash

milk

1/2 teaspoon

ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon

chia seeds

1 tablespoon

honey

1 knob

butter

1 pinch

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a small saucepan add the oats, salt and water. Boil the oats for 2 minutes. Keep stirring to prevent clumpy oats or from burning.

* Step 2

Add in the cinnamon and milk, then stir to combine and cook for a further minute.

* Step 3

Take off the heat and add the butter, then stir in whilst melting. Pour into a bowl to serve. Add the nectarine slices, honey and sprinkle with the chia seeds. Enjoy whilst hot.
