Braids with feta cheese, olives and peppers

A tasty and easy recipe for parties and buffets.

Ingredient

oregano

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Open a sheet of puff pastry and spread it out. Place its long side in front of you. Cut it vertically into three strips.

Brush each strip with 1 tsp olive paste. Sprinkle with a little oregano and spread around a little feta cheese. Cut the peppers into 12 strips and place 2 strips at the end of each piece of puff pastry.

Brush the ends of each strip of puff pastry with water, roll them into a roll and press the edges to seal.

Take 3 strips from one end and press the dough to stick. Braid as it is done when making tsoureki. That is, take one strip from one side and place it between the other two, alternatively.

Beat the egg with 1 tbsp of water and brush the braids. Sprinkle the top with the sesame seeds. Bake the braids in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour on the bottom rack.
