Mastic koulourakia

Amazing, flavorsome koulourakia (cookies).

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cream the two kinds of butter with the sugar until fluffy. Then add the eggs one by one, while mixing. Add the milk where you have already dissolved the baker's ammonia. Meanwhile, sift the flour where you have added the vanilla, the baking powder, the orange zest and the mastic, both liqueur and ground.

* Step 2

Mix the ingredients well in a stand mixer until you have a pliable dough that unsticks from the sides of the bowl. Form it into koulourakia of various shapes and place them in a baking sheet brushed with butter.

* Step 3

Brush the top with egg and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for 15-20 minutes.
