Daal Tadka
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak daal for 2 hours. Boil daal along with tomato, salt and turmeric
* Step 2
Remove the skin of tomato. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic. Sauté these till translucent.
* Step 3
Add this to daal. Cook for some time. Heat coal in a steel bowl. Put coal in that. Keep that in daal. Cover the lid.
* Step 4
Make tempering in another pan. Add this on the top of daal for garnishing. Serve hot
