Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a bowl, combine he self-rising flour, sugar and milk; mix well.
* Step 2
Turn onto a floured surface; sprinkle with all-purpose flour.
* Step 3
Pat dough to 1/2-in. thickness.
* Step 4
With a sharp knife dipped in flour, cut into 3-in. x 2-in. pieces.
* Step 5
Pour butter into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.
* Step 6
Dip one side of each piece into melted butter. Carefully turn to coat.
* Step 7
Bake, uncovered, at 450°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
* Step 9
NOTE: As a substitute for each cup of self-rising flour, place 1-1/2 tsp. baking power and 1/2 tsp salt in a measuring cup. Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup.
* Step 10
NOTE: These are both the easiest and the best biscuits you'll ever make.They're light and buttery and go well with virtually any meal.
