Vetkoek
A delicious South African fried bread enjoyed with a variety of curries, butter or on it's own. I love mine with Tinfish curry 👌 #mylunch
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Add the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Make a well then add the lukewarm water little at a time to form a soft dough.Knead the dough for 5 mins and cover. Let it rise in a warm area for 1hr
* Step 2
Take the dough out and place it on a floured surface. Roll it into a log and cut them into pieces. Stretch them into squares and let it rise a further 10 mins.Pour oil in a deep pan and heat on med heat.
* Step 3
Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown and place on paper towel to soak excess oil.Enjoy with any curry filling. MAKES OVER 1 DOZEN
