Homemade Crunchie Bars

Satisfy that sweet tooth cravings with this yummy treat.Easy to make and tastes exactly like the shop bought ones.

Ingredient

1/2 cup

sugar

1 1/2 tsp

baking soda

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Line a baking tray with greased wax paper.Add sugar and honey in a pot and place it on low heat till the sugar melts. Turn up the heat to medium and let the it simmer until golden in colour.Add the vanilla essence

Turn off the heat and whisk in the bicarbonate of soda quickly.

Pour the syrup immediately onto the wax paper.

Leave it to set slightly and use a greased knife to cut it into logs and then leave it to harden.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave.Separate the honeycomb and dip them in the chocolate using a fork till fully coated and place on wax paper to set.Enjoy the homemade crunchies and keep them in an air-tight container in the fridge.
