Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash, peel, and core the apples and dice them up. Put them into a container and add lemon juice and toss them. Make sure each piece of apple is coated, to stop the pieces from turning brown, and to add, more flavor to the salad. Heat cast iron skillet, if that's what you're going to use, and once it's hot add in the pecans and toast them lightly.
* Step 2
When the pecans are toasted move to a plate and set aside. Add the macadamia nuts to the cast iron skillet, and toast them till they are slightly browned.
* Step 3
Then do the Walnut halves and then, add all the nuts back to the skillet. Add in the cinnamon, sprinkling over the nuts.
* Step 4
Add the honey and heat thoroughly till the honey starts to bubble. Mix the nuts with the honey, really good, until everything is coated. Set aside and allow to cool. Once cooled add the nuts to the apples. Make sure the honey coats the apples well.
* Step 5
Rinse the grapes and pat dry and then add them to the apple and nut, mixture. Mix well and make sure everything is coated with the honey especially the grapes that you just added into salad.
* Step 6
At this point the salad will taste slightly sweet and very much like cinnamon. You can leave as is, or use the dressing to balance this out. Mix well and allowed to sit for at least 15 minutes. Can't be chilled or room temperature.
* Step 7
After the salad is rested for 15 minutes, serve, I hope you enjoy!!!!!
