Pizza Sauce
#flavour4 This is such a delicious sauce & you can use it for pizza & pasta both. It is spicy & so flavourful.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pan take oil, once the oil heats up add ajwain, mix herbs and diced onions. Let this cook for 30 seconds. Then add diced capsicum and garlic paste and cook it for another minute.
* Step 2
Then add diced tomatoes and cover it & cook this mixture for around 20 minutes on slow flame.
* Step 3
After 20 minutes add salt, sugar, red chilli powder and cook for another 5 minutes or till the mixture looks like this.
* Step 4
Now switch off the flame & let this mixture cool for 20 minutes then blend it into a smooth paste in a mixture grinder.
* Step 5
Now transfer the puree into the same pan & cook it for another 5 minutes, then add 2tbsp cornflour diluted in 4tbsp water and cook the sauce for 5 minutes stir continuously while adding cornflour.
* Step 6
Then adjust the seasoning, add chopped basil leaves and chilli flakes & cook the sauce till you get a good thick consistency.
* Step 7
Finally cool the sauce & use it on a pizza base or for pasta
