Wingko Babat Oven (Sticky Coconut Cake)

This gluten free Indonesian Sticky Coconut Cake (Wingko Babat) is a coconut filled dessert snack that’s easy to make and so delicious! It’s simply a must make for coconut lovers. Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all ingredients, sugar with coconut, mix well while kneading, add glutinous rice flour and eggs and coconut milk little by little while stirring evenly.

* Step 2

Add salt and vanilla powder to the mixture. Pour the melted margarine into the dough while kneading.

* Step 3

Pour on a baking sheet lined with banana leaves or baking paper. Bake in the oven until golden brown. And wingko cake is ready to be served with your afternoon coffee or tea.
