Dal fry
Dal is very rich in protein so it is very healthy for us. #dal
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the dal for 1-2 hours then wash it and drain the water.
* Step 2
Now pour the dal in a pressure cooker add water, salt, turmeric powder, onion and garlic cloves, mix it and cover the lid and cook for 1 whistle on high flame and 15 minutes on medium to low flame.
* Step 3
After 15 minutes switch off the flame and leave to release the pressure.
* Step 4
Mix the dal with the help of whisk add water if required to adjust the consistency.
* Step 5
Now for the tadka heat up a pan with oil add cumin seeds and chopped green chilli sauté for a minute and pour it to the dal, mix it.
* Step 6
Our healthy dal is ready to serve.
