Dry Sevai (vermecilli)
Dry sevai is very delicious and easy to make dessert. It can be made very quickly. I made this for Eid. #Eidkimeethas
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First roast the sevai in pan on medium heat Till it turns golden in colour and remove from the pan and let it cool down completely.
* Step 2
Now in a large vessel add 2 cup of water and add the sugar and put it on heat on high flame till the sugar dissolves in it.
* Step 3
Boil it for 8-10 minutes to make little thick sugar syrup. Now remove from heat and keep Aside.
* Step 4
Now in heavy bottomed vessel add 3 tbsps ghee, add cloves and green cardamom and add the sliced dry fruits and fry for few seconds.
* Step 5
Now strain the prepared sugar syrup in it and mix well and bring it to boil.
* Step 6
Now add the roasted vermecilli in it mix it nicely and the flame should low to medium at that time.
* Step 7
Now cover the vessel and cook for 15-20 minutes on low to medium flame until it’s done. Stir it after some time. (you cAn use khoya at that time but I didn’t use khoya).
* Step 8
Now turn off the flame and our dry sevai is ready to serve.
