Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel bottlegourd and cut in pieces
* Step 2
Soak chana dal for 1/2 hour
* Step 3
Heat oil in a kadai crackle cumin seeds
* Step 4
Grind onion make paste of it and grind ginger garlic to make a separate paste
* Step 5
First add onion paste.saute it till brown
* Step 8
Add bottlegourd and chana dal in it
* Step 10
Add water and let it cook till soft
