Mung Gajar Appe (Whole Green Moong Carrot Appe) is a great option for healthy and tasty breakfast or snack.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak the whole Green moong for 6 hours, in enough water.
* Step 2
Now grind the lentil with ginger, garlic,chilli, cumin seeds in to a smooth paste,add just enough water of grinding the paste.
* Step 3
Transfer the batter into a deep bowl add salt and mix well,cover with lid and keep aside to ferment in a warm place for 8 hours.
* Step 4
After fermentation add grated carrot and mix well
* Step 5
Heat an Appe mould on a medium heat and grease it using a little oil, pour the batter into each Appe mould,cook using a little oil,till the lowest surface become golden brown and then turn each Appe upside down using a fork as to cook them from the other side using a little oil.
