Ravioli with Meat Sauce
Growing up, I loved when Moma would buy a large can of ravioli. I asked her why she didn’t make it from scratch cuz she made everything else she cooked. Her reply, “I don’t do pasta” 😳 she didn’t cook anything she didn’t like. She hated pasta of any kind!
So, she bought premade stuff that my Daddy and I liked. Now, I found a shortcut to “homemade” ravioli.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat olive oil in skillet, cook onion until tender.
* Step 2
Add tomatoes, stir well. Add bay leaf, thyme, garlic, basil & oregano. Stir in ground meat. Let simmer 20 minutes. Remove bay leaf and discard.
* Step 3
While sauce is simmering, cook frozen ravioli, usually 6-8 minutes, drain.
* Step 4
Stir ravioli into meat sauce, garnish with Parmesan and serve.
