Fruit coffee cake

Ingredient

2 tablespoons

shortening

1/2 cup

sugar

3 teaspoons

baking powder

1/4 teaspoons

salt

1/2 cup

milk

1/2 teaspoons

vanilla

1

egg

1/4 cup

flour

2 tablespoons

cinnamon

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cream together shortening and sugar

* Step 2

Add the egg and beat well

* Step 3

Sift dry ingredients together

* Step 4

Add alternately with milk

* Step 5

Add the vanilla

* Step 6

Place in greased pan

* Step 7

Add 1/4 teaspoons lemon extract to fruit

* Step 8

Pour over top of batter.

* Step 9

Blend all topping ingredients sprinkle over top

* Step 10

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes
