Boneless Prime Rib

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Remove layer of silver skin on top
* Step 2
Tie the top of the roast with 3-4 wraps of butchers twine to keep the Rib eye cap from sliding off
* Step 3
Season generously and rub in coarse salt, black pepper, and garlic powder
* Step 4
Make a simple compound butter mixing a stick of butter with fresh chopped garlic and an herb mixture of choice
* Step 5
Completely smother Rib roast with butter mixture. Cover as if frosting a cake. Cover all sides
* Step 6
Add to a 250F smoker or oven
For around 2 and a half to 3 hours till internal temperature reaches 125F
* Step 7
Slice thinly and pour drippings on top before serving for more flavor
