Mango Jam/Selai Mangga/Mango Reçeli

Selain selai kesukaan ibu mertua, dari kemarin2 bingung mau kasih bingkisan apa ke teman2 kerja buat hari terakhir ngajar sebelum liburan musim panas mulai. Alhasil yg ada dikepala bikin selai, karena hasil terakhir kemarin bikin selai strawberry dan dibawa ke sekolah teman2 pada suka. Dan berhubung musim mangga, sepertinya selai mangga adalah yg paling pas. Alhamdulillah hari ini dibagi2kan sebagai bingkisan “Happy Summer” pun teman2 suka....

Ingredient

800 - 1000 gr (depends on mangoes size)

Cooking time :

3 - 3.5 hours

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean and cut the mangoes, put them in a saucepan. Add the sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Fridge it for 24 hours./Bersihkan dan potong mangga, masukkan ke dalam panci. Tambahkan gula, kayu manis, dan cengkeh. Simpan dalam kulkas selama 24 jam.

* Step 2

Boil the mango for around 2.5 - 3 hours and keep stirring every 15 minutes. Once the mango liquid thicker try to put it in the spoon and freeze it for few minutes./Rebus mangga selama sekitar 2,5 - 3 jam dan terus diaduk setiap 15 menit. Setelah cairan mangga lebih kental coba masukkan ke dalam sendok dan bekukan selama beberapa menit.

When the cold mango liquid is not easy to drop then add the lemon juice. Keep boiling it for 30 minutes more. Then cold it before putting it in the jar, keep refrigerated./Bila cairan dingin mangga tidak mudah menetes maka tambahkan jus lemon, didihkan lagi selama 30 menit. Kemudian dinginkan sebelum dimasukkan ke dalam toples, simpan di lemari es.
