Caramelised Nuts bread pudding

#CD #cookpadindia Bread pudding is a very famous dessert in many countries it’s prepared using all available pantry staples nothing fancy required simply take milk,custard’s powder,breadcrumbs etc steam it or bake it both are absolutely a treat to our tastebuds.do try it & share your experience friends..!

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-4 servings

Cooking time :

20-25 minutes steamed cooling time:2 hours
6 tablespoons

water

1 teaspoon

vanilla essence

3 tablespoons

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly take a heavy bottom wok add water,sugar let it caramelise until golden brown immediately add nuts & set in the same wok set aside to cool.take all measured ingredients on hand.

* Step 2

Further boil milk in another bowl mix custard powder with cold milk without lumps in milk add condensed milk first then add custard mix keep stirring continuously once it’s towards thick consistency off the flame burner and add breadcrumbs in batches without dry lumps mix very well it will be a thick batter

* Step 3

Preheat water in another bigger wok with 2 inch layer of water let it boil very well in the caramelised wok pop in the batter level it using a spatula.set it in the preheated wok cover it using a foil or the wok lid make sure it has no space to splash water in the pudding wok.finally cover the upper layer of the wok and let it steam for 15-20 minutes.prick a butter knife if it’s clean it’s done.

Let it cool down to room temperature then pop it in refrigerator for about 2 hours later pop it on a serving plate and serve it cool.our drooling & inviting caramelised nuts & bread pudding is ready to relish..!
