California Farm Bondon Potato Fritters in Air Fryer
Deep fried Street food from Bandung, Indonesia. Delicious. Deep fried fritters from mashed potatoes with delicious spices. The recipe is from cookpad member Widiya Febriani. Thank you, Widiya. I fried half of them in peanut oil, 4 minutes, and made the other half in the air fryer, 400F degrees, 15 minutes. I sprayed the air fryer ones with oil.
Both of them were light, non oily and delicious, crisp crust and hot soft filling. I left the peels on because they contain vitamins.
Ingredient
Food ration :
2 people, 10 potato fritters
Cooking time :
Half hour plus frying
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Fry onions and garlic, puree onions with equal amount of boiled potatoes in food processor.
* Step 2
Puree the onions & garlic, coriander, pepper, salt, bouillion stock powder, eggs and rice flour. Mix with potatoes with fork, make 10 balls
* Step 3
Heat the peanut oil to 375 F degrees, make fritter with heaping tablespoon of the mixture, deep fry until golden one by one, few minutes each.
* Step 4
Preheat airfryer to 400F degrees, spray 5 fritters the size of a heaping Tbs of potato mix with oil, bake 15 minutes till golden.
