Creamy fresh avocado halves, home made mayo, canned smoked oysters or canned crabmeat, chopped onions, drizzle of fresh lemon juice on top, a five minute appetizer that will knock your socks off.

* Step 1
When avocado feels soft and looks ripe, cut in half, remove pit with teaspoon and plant pit in flowerpot in window. Rub inside avocado flesh with lemon juice to keep from discoloring. Mix canned oysters or crabmeat with chopped shallots and home made mayo and fill avocado halves. Rich, filling appetizer. Serve one half avocado per person.
