Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash & soak dal masoor in warm water for about an hour set aside
* Step 2
Chop onions,red bell pepper,green chili’s & garlic
* Step 3
In a Kadai add oil then add chopped garlic sauté it for a minute then add the chopped onions sauté it till light golden then add curry leaves & red bell pepper chopped slices sauté all for a two minutes then add dal masoor & water according to dal make sure you don’t add more water otherwise it will be mashed we need 90 % done dal it will taste good
* Step 4
Once you added dal add in the turmeric powder & red chilli powder cover the lid for 5 minutes it must be done then lastly add salt,dash of Garam masala powder,coriander leaves cook one more minutes & it’s ready.serve it hot with rice or chapatis with an egg omelet if non veg.
