Ingredient

1.5 cup

Besan

as needed

Salt

1 pinch

baking soda

1/2 tsp

Cumin Seeds

500 gms

Curd

2-3 Tbsp

green chutney

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take besan in a bowl and add soda and salt. Add water little by little to make a lumpfree batter. Consistency should be thick.

* Step 2

Heat the oil in a kadhai and drop 1 tsp batter into hot oil to check if it’s ready to fry.

* Step 3

Deep fry balls like dumplings till light golden brown in color and take it out from the oil.

* Step 4

Boil 5-6 cups of water in a pan and add 1/2 teaspoon salt.

* Step 5

Drop 8-10 balls at a time in hot water and take it out from the hot water after 30 seconds.

* Step 6

Take curd in a bowl and beat well.

* Step 7

Heat oil and temper with cumin seeds. add tempered ingredients into phulki and mix it well.

* Step 8

Dahi phulki is ready and serve chilled.
