Canned Mackerel in Tomato Sauce

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Gather and prep all ingredients:
1. Dice tomatoes
2. Slice onion
3. Chop or mince chillies
* Step 2
Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a wok or deep pan. Next, add sliced onions, chopped chillies, turmeric powder and pinch of pepper powder. Sauté for a minute or two. Stir in chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are very soft. Add canned Mackerel. Gently stir. Season with sugar, dark soy sauce and chicken seasoning powder or chicken bouillon to taste. Simmer over medium high heat. Taste and adjust seasonings accordingly. Bring to a boil then turn off the heat. Serve hot with rice, roti or bread.
