Tomato Rice

Tomato Rice
Garnish this rice with raisins, cashews and coriander. We, however, serve ours plain, as kids don’t like raisins in their savory food.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and soak A for 10mins. Prep the rest of the ingredients.
* Step 2
B - Start by heating the wok. Add butter and oil. Sauté the rest of the ingredients in B until fragrant.
* Step 3
C - Then Add C. Stir and mix well. Add soaked rice. Stir and mix well again for few minutes. Transfer into rice cooker pot. Leave the pot on the stove over low heat until the water slightly gone. Then transfer the pot into rice cooker and press cook button.
* Step 4
Use chopstick to fluff the rice once the rice cook. Let it cook further by leaving the ‘keep warm’ button on until the rice is soft and nice. Serve hot with pineapple salad, chicken in spicy sauce or chicken in thick tomato sauce.
