Salem (India) Thattu Vadai Set

When there is just one of veggies left over and you got a family to feed for dinner, that is when we generally feel how the farmers of the world struggle to grow their produce. This is our way of #givethanks where we all sit as a family and pray for the people who strive everyday to bring food to our table daily. After all, it is the season of thanks giving!☺️

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Select out pappads that are in regular and round shape with no defects. These can be bought in stores to save time.

* Step 2

Mix the onions, carrots, beetroot and cilantro together along with lemon juice.

* Step 3

This is similar to a Pappad sandwich. Lay one side of the pappad on the plate and top it with the veg mix.

* Step 4

Now take another set of pappad and apply all the chutneys (1tsp) each on every pappad.

The pappad with chutneys must be arranged over the veg mix with the chutney portion face down.

Tips: Lemon juice is optional, as is cilantro. To increase flavor you can also add chat masala over the top a pinch.
