Red Indian gravy(North Indian red curry)

A very basic and North India Prominent gravy which is used in variety of vegetables and any type of Indian curries like Paneer, Chole, Rajma, Dum Aloo , Mushrooms etc. This onion tomato gravy is really easy to make. For parties It can be made few days prior as it can be stored for 7-10 days when kept in refrigerator.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat a wok and add oil to it. When the oil gets hot, add onion paste to it.
Saute the onion paste nicely.
* Step 2
Add ginger garlic paste after few minutes.
Mix it well and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt to it.
* Step 3
Salt will work as preservative.
Finally add tomato puree and mix this well.
* Step 4
Cover it with lid and let it cook for 10 minutes. Stir in between.
Or can be pressure cooked till one whistle.
The basic red gravy is ready.
* Step 5
Add black grams, kidney beans or anything of your choice to this gravy to make dish.
