Chocolate Cake Made with Pancake Mix and Cocoa

Whenever I make cakes with pancake mix, I always try to get rid of its characteristic powdery taste. I tend to have a lot of cocoa left over, so I use lots!

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings
200 grams

Pancake mix

50 grams

Cocoa powder

100 grams

Sugar

100 grams

Milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

This is the cocoa I used. If you are using pure or unsweetened cocoa, add an extra 30 g of sugar.

* Step 2

Preheat the oven to 170°C.

* Step 3

Mix all the ingredients together well, and pour into a cake tin. Drop once or twice onto your counter or work surface to remove air bubbles.

* Step 4

I topped the cake in the photo with coconut before baking it.

* Step 5

Bake at 170°C for 40-45 minutes to finish!
