English Toad In The Hole 😍

Old English favourite. Sausage with Batter mix poured over rises over the sausage all browned with an onion gravy and Mashed Potatoes to accompany this recipe. #Choosetocookforworldfooday2022

Ingredient

25- 35 minutes

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sausages cook 3/4 s Cooked and browned

Measure the Flour then sift it into a deep dish make a well in the middle

Crack the two eggs and drop them in the well. Using a hand whisker whisk in the eggs until its like a paste.

Next add the milk slowly and mix until smooth. Add salt pepper and the mustard and stir in.

In a 9 inch square oven dish add the oil swirl around to cover the bottom of the oven dish.(I used greaseproof paper so it does not stick to the bottom)

Add to a pre- heated oven for 3 minutes to heat up. Then take out add the sausages and pour over the batter mix.

Add back to the oven for 25-35 minutes or until risen and browned.

When Done share onto two serving plates, add mash potatoe and gravy poured over the Toad In the hole. Enjoy
