Sushi Rice

This is a recipe for use with rice cooker only.

Ingredient

3 cups

sushi rice

1/3 cup

rice vinegar

2 tbsp

sugar

1 1/2 tsp

coarse salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse rice several times until the water runs clear, then let it soak for 30 minutes

* Step 2

Cook in rice cooker on sushi setting

* Step 3

Mix together vinegar, sugar, and salt, then heat in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until everything is dissolved and set aside to cool

* Step 4

Once rice is done, spoon it out into a wet glass container. Add vinegar slowly while using rice paddle to mix into rice

* Step 5

Mold rice with wet hands into onigiri, or spread on a bamboo mat to roll sushi
