Chocolate peanut toffee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Spread the whole peanuts over the paper. Bring the butter, sugar, and salt to a boil in a large heavy pot until 300 F.

* Step 2

Pour the butter mixture over the peanuts and smooth the mixture across the peanuts. Let stand 1 minute and then sprinkle the chocolate over. Let the chocolate melt ~4 minutes and then spread over the toffee. Sprinkle with the chopped peanuts and freeze ~30 minutes until firm. Break into pieces.
