Simple Slow Cooker Vegetable Soup
I used to use this recipe for the stovetop and now I use it for the slow cooker. You can use fresh vegetables, which I prefer, but if you are short on time then frozen is just as good. You can serve it with cubed chicken ,cooked noodles, rice, pasta, matzo ball, etc. Or just as is. #mycookbook
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix the spices together. Set to the side.
* Step 2
Add the vegetables to the slow cooker.
* Step 3
Pour the water, stock, diced tomatoes and tomato paste over vegetables.
* Step 4
Finally, add the spices and stir together. Then place the bay leaves on top of the soup. Put the lid on top, turn the temperature to low and set the timer to 8 hours.
