Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 servings

11/4 cup

low fat yogurt

13/4 cups

water

to taste

salt

2 teaspoon

oil

1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon

grated ginger

1/4 teaspoon

turmeric

1/4 teaspoon

red chilli powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in pressure cooker

Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds

Add red chilies, ginger and hing. Saute for few seconds

Add green chilies and saute for few seconds, add in sprouts

Add spice powders, 1.5 cups water and salt. Mix well

Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles over medium heat until done

Meanwhile whisk yogurt in a bowl

Add remaining water and besan. You can add other gluten free flours too in place of besan for making it more nutritious

Whisk well until well combined and lump free

Once steam is naturally released, open the lid

Add in whisked yogurt mix and mix well over low medium heat

Simmer and cook for 15 minutes

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
