Sometimes called as dried Plums, these are deep Red in colour and have a chewy texture and savoury sweet flavour. Unlike Plums, Prunes can last in your pantry for about 6 Months. It is best stored in sealed containers in the refrigerator and stays good for upto a Year or more. These Prunes are highly nutritious and are useful in treating constipation issues in all including the children as small as 5 Months too. This Juice has to be given in recommended dosages for a Week to see the results. However as with any beneficial thing, over consumption should be avoided.

* Step 1

Soak these beautiful looking little one's in clean drinking water overnight. Keep it refrigerated.

* Step 2

Next day, remove them with a clean spoon. Deseed them as they might have been well soaked and it's easier to deseed them. Keep the water. It has to be used while blending.

* Step 3

Add these prunes, the water in which they were soaked, chopped jaggery and ice-cubes to a blender jar.

Blitz on a high for about 1-2 minutes or until everything gets mixed well.

Serve it chilled right away. Enjoy!
