Self-raising flour is a type of flour with leavening agents that make your baking a breeze. This flour is usually store bought but it can be made very easily at home too.
Store bought one also has a little of Salt as well. But I don't use it in the flour. I add it separately to the dough while making it if the recipe calls for it.
Therefore it's your choice if you are making the self raising flour at home. The best part is that it's easily done and also simple. Not only that it is pure and free from any preservatives.
The Plain flour can be turned into a Self-raising one in a jiffy. It helps in baking a large number of baked goods with ease.

* Step 1
Add both of the ingredients to a bowl. Mix well so that the baking powder gets nicely distributed in the flour.
* Step 2
That's it. It's all ready to be used for baking an umpteen number of mouthwatering delicacies. Store it in an airtight container.
* Step 3
This recipe can be doubled, tripled, quadrupled etc depending on one's needs and requirements. Enjoy!
