Oven Roasted Black Pepper Chicken

#cookpadindia #nonveg #chicken It is the most loved ideas when it comes to Chicken. And if it's on a weekend or a holiday, then it's a must have one. If you have an oven, then it's absolutely a breeze to do this one. Marinate and roast to perfection. If you have the griller rod in your oven, it's even more better. Easily done and doesn't require any hard work at all. Sit back and relax until done. The oven takes over the rest of the cooking process. Also add a few Vegetables to it for a yummy Salad. I have even thrown in some Baby Potatoes as well. This one is done with Black Pepper for a change. Curd can be used if desired. But if using, Hung Curd or the Greek Yogurt would be an ideal choice. The use of spices can be according to one's own taste and liking. That's it. I have used Chicken parts in this roast and have simultaneously roasted a few Vegetables too for a healthy Salad. This can be enjoyed or relished alongside a hot bowl of simple boiled Rice and Rotis or Chapatis too. It goes very well with Naans as well. Homemade Butter Naans are the best.

Ingredient

1 1/2 kg

Chicken parts

1 tbsp

Salt

4-5 tbsp

Hung Curd

1 tbsp

Lemon juice

2 tbsp

Oil

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add chicken pieces to a bowl for marination. Also add in the rest of the ingredients listed under it. Mix well and set aside for an hour. Don't forget to use curd. It can also be marinated overnight for best results.

* Step 2

Preheat oven on 220°and set the timer to a good 60 minutes. Place the well marinated chicken onto a butter paper lined baking tray. Bake until golden and crisp.

* Step 3

Also add chunks of onions and capsicums to the tray to be roasted simultaneously with the chicken. It would make for a great Salad.

Serve it hot with salad and naans or any bread of your choice. Enjoy! Yum!
