Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat ghee or clarified butter in a non stick pan on a low heat.
* Step 2
Add fox nuts or makhana and saute well turning them every now and then. Do it on a low flame only. Otherwise they might get burnt leaving a very bitter taste.
* Step 3
Add salt according to taste. I have used pink salt just for the enhanced flavour. You can add it according to one's own preferences. It takes almost 20 to 25 minutes to get done. Keep turning every now and then.
* Step 4
Also add the middle eastern herb or spice called sumac too. Mix well and cook until done keeping a vigilant eye over it all the while.
* Step 5
Serve it piping hot immediately to your folks thoroughly sprinkled with more of sumac herb. Enjoy!
