Capsicum and Suvaa Chicken

#Win #Week7 #cookpadindia Winter is in full bloom and so are the amazing array of fresh Vegetables. So here i present a dish made in a pan with two most lovely Vegetables that are Capsicum and Dill Greens. An absolutely tempting one and an amazing treat. It's a great Appetizer or a Starter that can be enjoyed on any day. It's a yummy treat on any day. And is a semi dry one. The making of it is simply easy. Nothing much complicated. It gets done in almost no time at all. And use of popular Indian spices adds a bit of colour and zing to the dish. Simple spices makes this semi dry Chicken a real treat. It's a perfect accompaniment at Lunch or Dinner alongside Rotis. And is an excellent shallow fried savoury Chicken that's actually semi dry type. And making this is equally easy. This can be enjoyed with a simple Dip like that of Dahi Pudina Chutney or Mint Yoghurt Chutney. And also alongside main meals as a side dish. The choice is yours. And the best part is that it is made in a pan very easily. A good marination time helps in making this a great success with succulent juicy Chicken that just melts in mouth. You will love it for sure. Indulge in this simple yet a flavourful and mouthwatering dish that can be a super refreshing one indeed.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Marinate the chicken with all the masalas and leave it for 20 minutes if you have enough time on hand. Otherwise you can proceed without the marination. Heat oil in a non stick pan or wok and add the cumin seeds at first. Let them splutter a bit before adding onions, green chillies and curry leaves.

Saute the onions for a while. Add the cubed or length wise cut capsicum at first. After sauteeing it. add the chicken and stir until well mixed on a high flame.

* Step 3

Keep the flame on a high for the next 3 to 4 minutes, making sure to keep stirring in between. Lower the flame and cover it. It will be done in 25 to 30 minutes. No need of adding any water. Also add chopped dill greens and some coriander leaves too. Cover and cook on a low to medium high heat keeping a watchful eye all the time. Keep stirring as and when required.

Garnish with coriander and serve hot with rice or puris or chapatis. Or even with phulkas or parathas. Yum! Enjoy!
